After the success of Planet Fabulon’s original video game adventure, and with an assist from the Canada Council for the Arts, LEVEL UP is back with new challenges, new live music performances, and a more immersive experience… just in time for Halloween!!
So dust off your imaginary controllers, give that metaphorical cartridge a blow, and PRESS START on a TOTALLY REMASTERED 8-bit adventure through the cosmos to defend galactic grooviness from the villainous Forces of Gluum.

WHAT IS ‘LEVEL UP’?
Imagine a 1+ hour, live and interactive, music, dance, and visual performance, in the style of a retro video game, where the audience determines the outcome. It’s like an online game, a concert, an art show, a piece of theatre, and a dance party all wrapped into one!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Every night, the audience will be sent on a quest through three different levels, each with its own musical and visual experience provided by stellar local artists.
With 4 chances to play and 5 unique levels to choose from, no two shows will be the same!
Join us once, twice, or all four nights to experience everything this 8-bit world has to offer!
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
To play, you'll just need a computer with a webcam, a smile, and a sense of adventure!
But it is Halloween… so costumes and silly decor are always welcome and encouraged!
Registering for a ticket will give you access to our Zoom room where you will join our livestream interactive 'video game', watch our performers, dance with our DJs and others in the audience, and influence the course of the story.

Consider our Zoom Room to be a public space. By entering you are consenting to your webcam stream, chat window, and anything you do there to potentially being seen publicly. We will be spotlighting different individual performer and guest cams on the feed throughout the event, making them visible to others attending the event. We will also be recording portions of this event for future promotional use and will be assembling a video version of the show from pieces of each performance, to live online after the run.
