In collaboration with the Access Centre, TBLGAY will be streaming the short films "Sins Invalid: An Unshamed Claim to Beauty" and “Gen Silent”.
Sins Invalid witnesses a performance project that supports and celebrates disabled artists, and centralizing artists of color and queer and gender-variant artists. Exploring themes of sexuality, beauty, and the disabled body, Sins Invalid is as an entryway into the ‘taboo’ topic of sexuality and disability.
Gen Silent is the critically acclaimed documentary from filmmaker Stu Maddux that asks six LGBT seniors if they will hide their friends, their spouses- their entire lives in order to survive in the care system.
