Ian Farr, Group Leader, CEO Global Network
Ian is a visionary CEO and entrepreneur with over 20 years’ experience building and leading innovative, high-growth companies.
A strategic thinker, Ian excels at turning ideas into tactical reality. He founded Bimmian Automotive Canada as a young tech entrepreneur in 2002 and led the company as President in the development, production, marketing and distribution of automotive accessories for BMW, MINI, Audi and other luxury brands before selling the business in 2018.
Ian excels at applying data-driven approaches to critical decision-making and is passionate about process optimization and efficiency. His operational expertise includes strategic planning, product development, logistics, team development, data analysis, finance, technology, international commerce and mergers and acquisitions.
A growth expert, Ian has served as CEO of Wholesale Innovations—an importer and online retailer of private label consumer and commercial goods—since 2015. Under Ian’s leadership, Wholesale Innovators achieved 800% growth in 3 years and was named Canada’s 38th fastest growing firm of 2017.
Ian is also the Founder and President of InfoAnywhere—an electronic medical record (EMR) and case management tool that has assisted residential, outreach and community hospices in running their clinical, community and bereavement programs since 2002.
Ian has a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Economics from Trent University and was a participant in the MIT Entrepreneurial Master’s Program, which selects 65 CEOs of high-growth private companies to receive enhanced CEO skills development over a three-year period.
In his spare time, Ian is a private pilot who enjoys travel for both business and pleasure. Ian is dedicated to mentoring other entrepreneurs and leads a CEO Group of high-growth tech company founders in the downtown core of Toronto.
John Wilson, Founder and CEO, CEO Global Network
John Wilson is an experienced entrepreneur, business owner, and leader. He has a proven track record of building nine-figure businesses, and is one of the world’s preeminent CEO mentors. With fifty years’ experience building shareholder value with companies such as W.R. Grace Inc., Ultramar Canada Ltd., Ultramar Inc., and TEC (The Executive Committee) Canada Ltd., John has demonstrated his ability to build and lead successful companies in both Canada and the United States.
John has also coached hundreds of high-performing CEOs and entrepreneurs to greater success and is the founder and CEO of CEO Global Network—an exclusive CEO peer group organization that creates opportunities for learning and development through monthly group meetings, targeted one-to-one mentoring, and focused learning events.
