Are you a filmmaker or content creator interested in taking your project to the next level? Are you passionate about sparking conversations and raising awareness through content and storytelling? Reelworld LAUNCH is our 2017 industry program aimed at creating networking and industry development opportunities for emerging and underrepresented filmmakers and storytellers.
Reelworld LAUNCH industry sessions will take place on Friday, October 13th on the main stage within the Toronto Reference Library. The four (4) LAUNCH industry sessions are:
PITCH & FUND / A case study on the upcoming independent feature film, Brown Girl Begins which was funded by Telefilm Canada and directed by Sharon Lewis.
DIRECT / Lessons learned from emerging filmmakers who made the transition from directing their short film to directing for popular broadcast television shows such as Kim's Convenience, Murdoch Mysteries, and many others.
MARKET / A panel of industry insiders share tips and strategies on how to successfully find an audience and market your film or media project in today’s landscape.
DISTRIBUTE / Leading experts from streaming platforms and distribution companies discuss new content distribution opportunities in today's rapidly changing and evolving media landscape.
