Join us at the Soft Space by Mama Glow for “Reproductive Health Uncovered”, a community event exploring reproductive health conditions that disproportionately affect Black women and girls. This gathering is designed to bring women, mothers and daughters together for education, empowerment, and community connection, focusing on both those living with these conditions and those seeking to learn more about their prevalence and impact.
Throughout the evening, we will delve into the challenges and management of endometriosis, PCOS, and fibroids, highlighting the often undiagnosed and overlooked nature of these conditions among Black women. We will feature experts who will share valuable insights and research, interactive discussions for attendees to exchange experiences, and a dedicated self-care component designed to nurture your mind and body.

Event Highlights:
Expert Panel: Learn from leading health professionals about the latest advancements and strategies for managing Endometriosis, PCOS, and Fibroids. Understand the signs and symptoms to watch for, and why early diagnosis is crucial.
Meditation: Participate in a guided meditation session to help manage stress and improve mental well-being. These sessions will teach techniques for relaxation and mindfulness that can be beneficial for overall health.
Herbal Demonstration: Discover the benefits of herbal remedies and how they can support reproductive health. Our herbal demonstration will introduce you to natural treatments and remedies that may alleviate symptoms and promote wellness.

About Your Guide:
Mekleet Melaku is a passionate advocate for maternal and reproductive health, dedicated to empowering communities through education and support. Currently a rising senior at Brown University, Mekleet is concentrating in Computational Biology while actively pursuing her passion in reproductive justice. As a certified doula and president of Reproductive Justice @ Brown, she has led numerous initiatives to raise awareness and provide resources for reproductive health. Mekleet is also a Summer Fellow at Mama Glow, where she focuses on reproductive health issues such as endometriosis, PCOS, and fibroids.
