This is the first event at NYMA in over a decade and we are kicking it off with Rob on the NYTOS touring Allen Organ as the Möller 428 Op. 4925 (1928) begins a restoration process. About Rob Rob Richards is best known as Disney's (El Capitan Theatre) "House Organist," in Hollywood, with over 8000 shows since 1999! Since his concert debut in 1974, audiences have been captivated by his music and engaging stage presence. Across America and around the world, with over a dozen international concert tours, Rob Richards has built an unlikely career as a theatre organist, springing from his passion for movies, movie palaces, heartfelt music and beautiful sounds!, Additionally, Rob specializes in Instrument design/specifications and Tonal Finishing. He designed the world's largest digital theatre organ, and has recorded numerous CDs on some of America's finest pipe and digital instruments.
