Royal Oak DDA and Meijer present the 38th Annual Royal Oak Spooktacular taking place in Downtown Royal Oak on Sunday, October 23, 2022 between 1-5pm. The FREE trick or treating event will be taking place all throughout Downtown Royal Oak (South of 11 mile / north of 7th Street). Trick or Treaters are asked to follow the directional arrows and follow the numbers which are posted on the participating businesses. Join us for the Monster Mash Party on Washington Ave. (between 4th and 6th) A limited amount of Spooky Passes are available for purchase. Spooky Pass holders will receive a trick to treat bag, mini pumpkin to decorate, a photo at the photo booth, face painting, cider and donut courtesy of Woodward Corner Market and play games in the Faygo Fun Zone. A live DJ will be playing fun music for the kid’s dance party. Plus, Clark Lewis will amaze crowds with his juggling acts! The Monster Mash Party is from 1 - 5pm (make sure you check in no later than 3pm) Spooky Passes are recommended for 12 years old and younger. Parents do not have to purchase passes. Any child, regardless of age that wants to particpate in the spooky pass events, must purchase a pass. 👻SPOOKY PASS HOLDERS will receive at check in (on Washington & 5th) a trick or treat bag, map, a Spooky Pass that will grant access to the Face Flair Face Painting, cider and donut courtesy of Woodward Corners, a mini pumpkin to decorate, photo at the photo booth, access to games in the Faygo Fun Zone. This area will be open from 1 pm - 5p.m. (make sure you check in no later than 3p.m.) 🎃The FREE trick or treating event will be taking place between 1-4p.m. in Downtown Royal Oak. There are 40 + businesses who are participating. The businesses have numbers on their windows, there will be directional signage and crossing guards helping you along the way. If the footprint is too large for your little one, please feel free to take short cuts, but go in the same direction as everyone else. Make sure you use the cross walks. 🎃SPOOKY PASS HOLDERS. Please print your tickets in advance, this will make the line move faster. If you can't print your passes, have them ready to scan on your smart phone. If you can't find your pass, check your spam folder. We can also look up your tickets at check in, but you need to show your ID. CHECK IN is at Washington and Fifth Ave. You can check in at 12 noon, but must be checked in no later than 3p.m. 🎃 Spooky Passes on line at www.SpookyRoyalOak.com until 11:59pm, Saturday, Oct 22 for $10. If any ticket remain, Spooky Pass will be available at Washington and Fifth Ave, starting at 1pm for $15. Cash only. 🎃The Monster Mash Dance Party is from 1pm - 5p.m. on Washington. 🎃The event is rain or shine. 👻Parking is free on Sundays.
