Description
The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is the world's largest timed film competition, and it has returned to Richmond as a part of the 2022 international tour.
Filmmakers from the Richmond area raced to write, shoot and edit a HORROR film in just 48 hours, and you can see them in their dazzling World Premiere Screenings! Each screening will include a Q&A with the filmmakers immediately following the films and a chance for YOU to select an Audience Choice Award for that screening. Voting will be via QR code, so you must have a mobile device to vote!
One film will be chosen by a panel of film professionals as the "Best 48 Hour Horror Film of Richmond" and that film will move on to screen at Filmapalooza in Los Angeles, CA in March 2023, and even get a shot at a screening in next year's Cannes Film Festival! A runner-up and awards in numerous other categories will also be awarded.
Tickets will be available for purchase online in advance through October 28 for $10 each, or at the door for $15, cash only.
