Filmmakers from the Richmond area will race to make a film in just 48 hours, and you can see them in their dazzling World Premier Screenings! The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is the world's largest timed film competition, and it has returned to Richmond as a part of the 2017 international tour. We anticipate three separate screenings with different films in each screening group. One film will be chosen by a panel of film professionals as the "Best 48HFP Film of Richmond" and that film will move on to screen at Filmapalooza, and even get a shot at a screening in next year's Cannes Film Festival! Each screening will include a Q&A with the filmmakers immediately following the films and a chance for YOU to select an Audience Choice Award for that screening. Tickets will be available for purchase online or at the door, cash only. Films are not rated and some may contain mature content or language.
