[ DJ CLENT ]
DJ Clent is one of the three founding fathers of footwork, a Chicago-rooted electronic dance music genre known for its use of feverish syncopated rhythms, half time and extensive sampling – marrying it as close to hip hop as the ghetto house genre it spawned out of. He has released on DanceMania, Planet Mu, Juke Trax, Ghettophiles, and many more; we're excited to feature this legend as a part of the Juke Bounce Werk showcase at Scenario 2024.

Juke Bounce Werk (co-founded by DJ Noir, Jae Drago and Sonic D), has successfully dismantled genre boundaries by incorporating global underground sounds to illustrate the rich history and relationship within all styles of dance music. JBW has laid the groundwork in the expansion of Chicago Ghetto House, Juke and Footwork music in their native hometown of Los Angeles, California.
You can catch them monthly on their program Juke Bounce Werk Radio on the dublab airwaves; The show most notably showcases new and emerging talent through unreleased material and international guest mixes representing the global underground community.
