The Future of Food in Extreme Environments
Science & Food and Dr. Amy Rowat host an exciting evening
of addressing how to feed people in extreme environments, from outer space to
food deserts. Panel speakers include co-founder and CEO of Autoponics, Dr. Heather
Hava, President of Institute of Food Technologies Dr. Michele Perchonok, and
Chef Carlos Salgado of Taco MarĂa. Moderating the night will be UCLA's
Associate Vice Chancellor for Environment and Sustainability, Dr. Mark Gold.
