Waterfront Workouts X Summer Goals This summer, The Rooftop at Pier 17 will host FREE fitness classes curated and led by some of New York’s top fitness experts. Strengthen your mind, test your body and challenge your fitness limits with Seaport Fit. Classes are free but space is limited so be sure to RSVP today and reserve your spot. Presented by NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital and LIFEWTR Is the class sold out? Don't worry! Entry opens up 10 minutes before the class starts to anyone who would like to attend on a first come, first served basis until the class is full. If you have RSVP'd, make sure to arrive early to claim your spot. You aren't guaranteed entry once the class is opened up 10 minutes prior to class. Bad weather? Classes take place rain or shine. If there is bad weather, we will relocate classes to an indoor location. The class capacity may change when it is moved indoors so make sure to show up early to claim your spot. Social Tees Animal Rescue Seaport Fit is partnering with Social Tees Animal Rescue to get fit for a cause! Social Tees Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit, strictly no-kill 501c3 organization in the East Village of NYC that takes abandoned animals from kill shelters and provides them with safe haven and veterinary care before placing them in proper forever homes. https://www.socialteesnyc.org/ The bootcamp class will be hosted by Timithius, a NYC based personal trainer on the rooftop at Pier 17. Timithius is a Marine Corps Vet, that is a certified personal trainer and group instructor. He teaches innovative classes that focus on weight lifting as well as HIIT and cardio. Check out his workouts on his Instagram @timithius_. The class will include exercises such as bodyweight movements, high knees, burpees, push-ups, jump squats and more. Following the workout, all participants will receive a swag bag including a gift card from Modell's Sporting Goods and more while supplies last!
