Shady Ladies Literary Society presents Chemistry Club, where we pair women scientists and bartenders for unforgettable conversations.
The bartender develops a custom cocktail to pair with the research; the scientist talks about her work; and we drink and talk science!
This month we are excited to host Dr. Asia Dowtin, an associate professor of urban forestry at Michigan State University. She is going to discuss her work around the urban canopy and how cities can make smart choices about their municipal trees and ecosystems.
