A Drag Opera Extravaganza
Drag the witch! Rip off your bonnets and sneak into the woods of Puritan New England, where bible thumpers and booty bumpers rendezvous in secret gothic gaiety. Cast out those prudish finger-pointers with the rapturous music of Copland, Donizetti, John Adams and more, as American history spreads herself open for you at Heartbeat Opera’s cockamamie Crucible.
Every performance features the same performers and songs, with occasional special guest appearances. The vibe is:
Thursday 7:30pm - GALA PERFORMANCE- On opening night, watch us open some pockets—and maybe a few other things!
Friday 7:30pm - SHOW NO. 2 - Prepare for an evening of wicked thrills and a good time.
Saturday 6pm - SHOW NO. 3 - Get early and get enchanted by a performance that immerses you in every dark, delicious moment of witchy mischief!
Saturday 9pm - LATE SHOW - Last chance to get witchfully wild and devilishly lit when ALL tickets are just $50 and include a free drink!
Our Drag Opera Extravaganza Heads Downtown!: Judson Memorial Church is as bold and vibrant as our Drag Opera Extravaganza.
