Join us on Saturday, May 4th from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM CST for Social Impact through Sports with Sara Guderyahn, Vice President, Social Impact & Outreach at Chicago Blackhawks & Executive Director, Chicago Blackhawks Foundation. The event will take place at the Lyric Opera House of Chicago (20 N Wacker Dr.). In her presentation, Ms. Guderyahn will discuss her work at the Chicago Blackhawk’s charitable arm: the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation. She will share her extensive national and international experience across the government, non-profit, and private sectors, as well as the impact of her education at American University on her career. Finally, she will touch on her fundraising work, and explore the role that the sports industry can have on creating a positive social impact in our community. Sara Guderyahn forms part of the Chicago Blackhawks front office as the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation’s Executive Director. Guderyahn’s vast career includes more than 15 years of experience in the social impact sector, most recently with Education Pioneers. At the helm of the team’s charitable arm, Guderyahn has worked to advance the Foundation’s long-term strategic vision in addition to fundraising, charitable giving and program development at Fifth Third Arena, the Chicago Blackhawks Community Ice Rink.
