We are excited to invite you to join us at what is sure to be an unforgettable evening. Together, we will explore the important relationship between food, soil, and the health of the planet. THE FARM
Plumcot Farm is 7-acre family owned certified organic farm and living laboratory of The Gaia School of Healing & Earth Education. The farm is a biodiverse landscape, home to an incredible variety of vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, flowers, and native plants. The abundance of the land will be on full display, as we’ll have the privilege of being there during harvest season.
THE FOOD AND DRINKS
All food has a story. We are grateful to be working with local farms and chefs to serve curated dishes made with ingredients that are grown in soil that is valued and nurtured. Our soil-to-table dinner will include locally and selectively sourced vegetables, fruit, meat, desserts, biodynamic wine and wild spirits all sourced from farmers within Southern California, including Plumcot, Apricot Lane, Sow a Heart, and farmers participating in Kiss the Ground’s farmer scholarship program.
THE IMPACT OF THE MONEY RAISED
Everything Kiss the Ground does as a 501(c)3 nonprofit is made possible by the generosity and support of our incredible community. The money raised at this event will support our work to:
(1) Educate existing and emerging leaders, so they can participate in, advocate for and help build awareness to scale up regenerative agriculture.
(2) Support and empower farmers in their transition to regenerative agriculture through our farmer scholarship program.
(3) Create beautiful, inspiring, and easy to understand short form content and resources (films, infographics, blogs, guides, curriculum, and case studies) about soil and regenerative agriculture.
Money moving in the direction of our highest commitments nourishes our world and ourselves. What you appreciate appreciates. When you make a difference with what you have, it expands. -Lynne Twist
