PEOPLE OF EARTH! We found a beautiful summer spot for our sunny gathering…. And you won’t believe where! The Finest Minds of Fabulon have pulled their shiniest of strings to bring you not one, but FOUR Solar Flair parties this summer… THREE ON A HIDDEN DOWNTOWN ROOFTOP AND ONE AT A SECRET LOCATION! (Facebook event link: coming soon) OUR NEW OUTDOOR LOCATION! This summer, we're taking over a 2nd-floor rooftop patio hidden in an office building that becomes a ghost town on the weekend. Perfect for us to sneak in and dance the day away under a big blue sky. The surrounding skyscrapers provide nearly full shade and there are lots of bathrooms, couches, and even some indoor space if you really need some AC! (I know… we FANCY now) Even though we're movin' on up, this is still the same old fabulous daytime house party vibe that'll leave you feeling fresh the next day. You can still choose your own adventures, embrace your own energy levels and enjoy the same Fabulon values you know and love. This new spot will be home to THREE of our four events. Our August 12th party will be an extra special outdoor location to be announced soon! But all four events have new hours, including an extra “Decomp Hour” from 9-10PM to send you home feeling grounded. Both venues are fully accessible and have higher capacities. They're still kid-friendly for the first half and we'll still have all the things you've come to expect from Solar Flair including a full range of activities, places to lounge, a bar (at June/July/Sept events), and BYO food. All galactic creatures are welcome, so gather your crew and come co-create this alternate way to play with us! Our goal is to keep this series very monetarily accessible, but if your financial situation is such that the three price tiers are still out of reach, please email us to discuss volunteer options. We never want money to be a reason someone can’t come to our events. __________________________ WHAT TO WEAR As always, we encourage all guests to “dress as fabulously as you feel.” But for these daytime vibes, show us your ☀️SUNNIEST FLAIR☀️! This is the time for whatever makes you feel light and bright, bringing a little extra warmth to the season! And as this space is for chilling as much as chatting, dreaming as much as dancing, cozy and comfortable is also welcome! OTHER GOOD TO KNOWS This venue is fully accessible! You'll enter the lobby by way of the concierge and head up to the second floor via the elevators. This is an outdoor rooftop venue, but is almost completely shaded by the surrounding buildings. But just in case, there is a small indoor area you can access if you get overheated. Kids are welcome for the first half of each event! At 6:00pm, we’ll transition to adults-only (19+) hours. Entry for folks under 19 or over 65 is by donation (there is a spot to donate if you wish during checkout). Your ticket grants you in-and out privileges so if you need to pop out to bring your little one home, you’re welcome back for some more boogieing after! Along with the types of activities and experiences you've come to expect from our events, we are very open to the addition of your ideas to this series! Have something you want to contribute? Let us know! We will be running a bar, but feel free to bring snacks for your enjoyment. Or you can pop out to one of the dozens of hot spots downtown to pick up some nosh. Just remember, we are an LNT (Leave No Trace) community that prioritizes the respectful use of spaces. Please clean up after yourself and take any excess waste with you. We want this new space to feel in good hands with our incredible attendees!
