Southover Bonfire Society’s 2019 Celebration The King's Head, 7 Southover High St, Lewes BN7 1HS Saturday 23rd March 2019. For this year’s celebration and dinner we invite you to relax with friends and members, new and old, in Southover's Society Headquarters. Come for drinks, dinner or just the disco afterwards. Drinks from 6.45pm, Dinner 7.30-9.00pm, Disco from 9.00pm Tickets are available for either 2 courses (£18) or 3 courses (£24). Drinks are available separately from the bar. n.b. Please note that all menu selections must be made by Fri 16th March. Tickets will not be available after this date. The menu choices are: (V): Vegetarian (Ve): Vegan Starter * French Onion soup with croutons. VE/V* Crayfish Cocktail, served on crispy lettuce with slightly spiced marie-rose sauce.* Duck & Orange Pate, onion jam, toast & salad.* Deep Fried Brie, coated in breadcrumbs with cranberry sauce & salad. Main * Southover Chicken, chicken breast wrapped in bacon, white wine sauce, mash and vegetables.* Kings Bacon Burger, topped with cheese and onion chutney, served with salad , chips and coleslaw.* Cod Loin with King Prawns in Red Thai Sauce, skinless, boneless cod loin with king prawns in a creamy red Thai sauce with coconut, chilli & lemon grass. Served with rice.* Butternut Wellington, served with new potatoes and salad. VE/V Pudding * White Chocolate & Raspberry Cheesecake.* Dark Chocolate & Orange Torte.
