Cyber security awareness month is underway, and the BMO stackt team is hosting a special event to help increase awareness in our community.
BMO’s Fusion Centre team will be onsite to share cyber awareness and will perform a live demonstration of a computer and mobile device compromise through spear phishing.
A little bit about the Fusion Centre..
BMO’s Financial Crimes Unit (FCU) is a highly collaborative organization, combining cyber, fraud, and physical security functions into one organization with subject matter experts from the lines of business (Personal and Business Banking, Wealth and Capital Markets) and business functional groups (Communications, Legal and Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, Risk) to create fully integrated security capabilities. The Fusion Centre within the FCU is a state-of-the-art facility that brings together experts from BMO’s lines of business and business functions to work side-by-side with security experts to assess risk, analyze threats and best counter 21st Century security challenges.
This event is free, and open to anyone in the community looking to increase and enhance their cybersecurity awareness, and hear, and learn from, top professionals in the field.
