Due to directives from the Ontario Ministry of Health and direct instructions from regional departments of Public Health, Summer Chef School is unable to operate in the summer of 2020. We are working on a number of alternatives for our early registrants, including a Summer Chef School at Home program, deliveries of sustainably produced goods from out farm, credits for upcoming years and full refunds. This will take some time. In the meantime, the dates and description of your previous event have been changed to this event. Registration for the event is closed to any new registrants. The actual dates are somewhat arbitrary but are designed to allow refunds of fees beyond the originally scheduled time.
Summer Chef School at Home is an amazing interactive at home
cooking experience for kids and families. Think of it as a combination of meal
box programs, farm fresh direct delivery programs, and online cooking schools.
Each week that you select, a complete ingredient box will be delivered directly
to your home along with food handling instructions and recipes. Later that
week, you will be invited to an interactive online cooking class hosted live by
Summer Chef School chefs with some very special co-hosts. You can participate
in the live online session, cook directly from the printed recipes or watch a
replay of the video on your own time.
