You are invited to join the GRAMMY Museum for Sunday Brunch With..., a fundraising event series in support of our GRAMMY In The Schools education programs.
The Museum is thrilled to team up with the incredible Charlie Puth and the renowned VERSE LA, located in Toluca Lake, for an afternoon of great music and food. Guests will dine on a delicious 3-course brunch while enjoying music performed by GRAMMY In The Schools education program alumni. Following the meal, guests will be treated to a rare, up close, and personal 45-minute performance from GRAMMY-nominated and multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer, Charlie Puth to close out the afternoon.
Sunday Brunch With… Charlie Puth is presented by City National Bank with support from Porsche Cars North America. This series is also generously supported by VERSE LA, which is owned by long-time GRAMMY Museum supporter and 17-time GRAMMY Award-winning mixer, Manny Marroquin. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Museum’s GRAMMY In The Schools music education programs, which annually impact more than 35,000 K-12 students and teachers across the country.
About the artist:
Charlie Puth has proven to be one of the industry's most consistent hitmakers and sought-after collaborators. Puth has amassed eight multi-platinum singles, four GRAMMY nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, a Critic’s Choice Award, and a Golden Globe nomination. His 2018 GRAMMY-nominated LP, Voicenotes, was RIAA Certified Gold only four days after its release and has logged over 5.6 billion streams worldwide. Puth’s 2020 collaboration with Gabby Barrett on their “I Hope” Remix earned him his fourth top 10 track on the Billboard Hot 100, hit number one on the Billboard “Adult Pop Songs” chart, and won a 2021 Billboard Music Award for “Top Collaboration.” Puth also co-wrote and produced The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber’s record-breaking single, “Stay,” which quickly become one of the biggest songs of 2021 and holds the title for the longest-reigning No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and the first to lead it for double-digits - spending a total of eleven weeks at the top of the chart.
In 2022 Charlie Puth, released his highly anticipated third studio album CHARLIE, via Atlantic Records. In this album, produced entirely by Puth, he reveals all sides of his personality by breaking every rule and expressing his vulnerability, confidence, and sense of humor for the first time in his career. The long-awaited album is the most authentic showcase of Puth to date. “I’ve been doing this for eight years, but CHARLIE is finally me,” says Puth. “For a long time, I was trying to be ‘the cool guy,’ but that was a foggy piece of glass in front of the world. Now, the glass is broken. There’s no window. You can reach right in.” Throughout the album, Puth infuses moments of humor into honest storytelling culled from experiences with his life and relationships over the past few years.
