André was also selected by the Grand River Blues Society to compete at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Recently, Andre won the 2022 Song of the Year Award for the International Song Contest for Blues & Roots Radio with his song ‘Down The Line’ from his latest album. Recently, Andre was nominated for the 2024 Maple Blues Awards for Songwriter of the Year and he released his music video ‘Latchford at the 2023 Hamilton Film Festival.
