Join us for a lively conversation about how Founders Brewing Co. gets inspired! Guests will enjoy a complimentary ice cold 12 oz. can of the Official Beer of ArtPrize Nine, Green Zebra, while Todd Herring, Creative Director at ArtPrize, leads a discussion with some of Founders most talented team members. Dive into Founders' creative process, the inspiration behind some of their most iconic labels, and the evolution of their beer lineup!

Stick around after the discussion and step into the ArtPrize STEAM Village for this one-time only event. The ArtPrize Beer will be flowing along with live beats while guests explore virtual reality and robotics activities within the STEAM Village.

Meet the Panelists
Jacob Wiseheart is a Grand Rapids based artist — a painter who employs a wide variety of styles. His use of strong expressive marks and vibrant color allow his paintings to take on a life of their own. Jacob finds endless inspiration in the visual world, allowing his emotions and mood to inform his expression on the canvas. With a BFA in painting from Kendall College of Art and Design, Jacob has held exhibitions at a number of venues around Grand Rapids, including the UICA and Founders Brewing Co. Jacob currently works at Founders Brewing Co. as a bartender in the taproom
Jason Heystek is the Vice President of Planning, Packaging, Inventory & Logistics (and Lead Guitar) for Founders Brewing Co. He joined the Founders production team in 2006 in the packaging department and has since worked in the warehouse and cellar as well, including a stint as the Head Cellarman for several years. He also oversees Founders' extensive barrel-aging program, developing beers including Backwoods Bastard, Doom, Project Pam and the recently released DKML.
Brett Haberkorn is a Senior Graphic Designer for Founders Brewing Co. After working as a professional graphic designer for 7 years, he landed his dream job creating the label art, packaging, and managing brand standards for Founders. His most notable labels consist of Dark Penance, Azacca IPA, reDANKulous, and the Michigan Breakfast Stout label.
