Don Ho of Quantstamp is an investor with global perspectives and cross-functional experiences supporting investments, product, and growth. I have a keen interest in meeting founders, corporates, and investors; and have built innovation ecosystems in SF, LA, and Southeast Asia.
Mayra Ceja is an experienced venture capitalist and angel investor with investments in Blockstack and Basis. She launched Princeton University's, first seed fund which she took from zero to 21 investments in 18 months. Prior, he managed LP relationships for Guggenheim Partners' hedge fund. She received her MBA from Wharton and BA from Princeton.
Ben Jorgensen. With over 10 years of business development experience, most notably as a two time founder and entrepreneur, Ben Jorgensen is the COO at Constellation Labs. Before being responsible for the fluid operation of the Constellation business, Ben founded and served as the CEO of Klick Push,Inc, an ad technology company that made it easy for Fortune 1000 brands to implement music into digital advertising initiatives which captured the attention of a $50 Billion dollar industry by being awarded 2014’s Ad Tech NYC: Best Emerging Ad Tech Company. Ben led Klick Push,Inc to to a multimillion dollar exit in 2015. Ben holds B.A.’s in Economics, Anthropology, and Political Science from the University of Arizona.
Neil Gerber is the Director for New Energy & Blockchain in IBM’s Energy, Environment & Utilities Industry. He is responsible for the development of solutions for non-traditional utility functions, specifically focused on integrating distributed energy resources and the industry’s blockchain strategy and execution globally. Previously he was the Director of the Smart Lifecycle Asset Management (SLAM) initiative. In this role he was responsible for the Strategy, Sales, and Solution Development of SLAM solutions. SLAM is focused on asset intensive clients across the Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas, and Travel & Transportation industries. SLAM solutions seek to leverage information across an asset’s lifecycle through information management, advanced analytics, and optimization. Prior to that, Mr. Gerber was the Power Generation Leader for the Energy & Utilities industry at IBM. In this position he was responsible for devising, developing and executing the solution portfolio strategy and capabilities for all of IBM’s power generation business. This includes capabilities for fossil, nuclear, and renewable generation areas.
Chris Ballinger is former Chief Financial Officer and Director of Mobility Services for the Toyota Research Institute. He joined TRI in April 2017 following 14 years at Toyota Financial Services (TFS), where he served in a global leadership role as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Officer of Strategic Innovation, helping guide global TFS strategy to address future market trends and business model requirements. Prior to joining Toyota, Ballinger’s career stops included Providian Financial as Assistant Treasurer, Bank of America as Senior Vice President of Treasury, and Staff Economist at the President’s Council of Economic Advisors under President Reagan.
Zaki Manian is the Executive Director of Trusted IOT Alliance, is a prolific contributor to the development of blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. Zaki has deep expertise in cryptography and distributed consensus system. He is also an advisor to the Cosmos Project, and several other investment funds and startup in the space.
Lawrence Lerner is a pioneer in Digital Payments with a history of success in innovation, both within large corporate and startup structures. During his career, Lawrence has worked across industries in multiple roles (executive, lead technologist, public board director) to enable digital transformation, scaling up businesses using edge technologies and processes creating $100Ms in new revenue. Whether it was re-architecting Dun&Bradstreet’s core product (35% growth), delivering the next generation of coupons across 31,000 retailers, growing an outsourcing business by $100M, defining Motorola’s smartphone/ecommerce strategy or helping launch a dozen startups he’s generated wealth for businesses, owners and shareholders. Lawrence has worked in the cryptocurrency space since the late 90’s. Today he is the CEO of Pithia, a blockchain venture company with four startups in the portfolio. They are currently raising their second blockchain fund.
Lori Wren Elerts serves as Lead Tax Partner for a variety of companies throughout the blockchain ecosystem. Lori joined Deloitte Tax LLP in 1991 and was admitted to the partnership in 2003. Lori has over 27 years of experience serving as a tax advisor to public and private multinational clients. Lori has a Masters in Accountancy in Taxation and is a Certified Public Accountant in California, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and member of the California Society of CPAs.
Robert Drost, PhD is a Senior Research Scientist at Consensys. His work at Consensys is presently with the Kaleido project to bring the value of Blockchains to Enterprises through a Software as a Service Cloud that offers radically simplified proof of concept trials and production deployments of Blockchain Enterprise systems. Previous to Consensys, Robert founded Pluribus Networks, mapping distributed TCP/IP protocols to the modern age of software design through a comprehensive Software-Defined Network (SDN) stack for Network Virtualization in private and hybrid Clouds. Pluribus partners with Ericsson in the Telco space, bringing its leading full-stack Cloud infrastructure to new 5G mobile network roll-outs. Previous to Pluribus, he was a Sr. Distinguished Engineer and Director of Advanced Research and Development at Sun Microsystems.
