About the Speakers:
Ned Myers, Senior Vice President & Head of Product at AlphaPoint: Ned brings over 25 years of proven FinTech experience rapidly growing software, data, and information businesses in structured finance, mortgage and capital markets while managing marketing, sales, product, operations, and strategy functions. In this role as AlphaPoint’s Head of Product, Ned is charged with leading the product management and marketing of the company. Prior to joining AlphaPoint, Ned led the capital markets and government businesses for Black Knight Inc.’s Data & Analytics division, a leader in mortgage information. Ned also spent over two decades with Lewtan, a securitization data & software company, holding positions that included head of Sales and Marketing, General Manager, and Chief Marketing Officer. Ned has launched over a dozen new products and services and is a recognized authority in the securitization industry. He has experience working with both traditional and esoteric asset classes, having worked directly with issuers, servicers, broker-dealers, and investors dealing with nearly two dozen asset types. Ned has been published in various books and trade journals on topics including technology issues in securitization; Regulation AB; and the application of advanced techniques to value mortgage-backed securities. An initial board member of the Structured Finance Industry Group (SFIG), Ned has co-chaired its Membership Committee and the Data & Analytics Committee while serving on other working groups covering topics like RMBS 3.0, Regulation AB 2, rating agency reform and risk retention. Ned holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with concentrations in finance and marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Nisa Amoils is an early and growth investor and Blockchain/crypto evangelist. She is a partner at Republic Labs. She has invested since 2010 and has been at Scout Ventures since 2016. She is on the Boards of CityBlock Capital, HighCastle and Institute for Blockchain Innovation and writes for Forbes and Blockchain Magazine. She is a regular judge/panelist on CNBC, MSNBC, Fox, Cheddar and others. She is a member of NY Angels and on the Board at Wharton Entrepreneurship. Prior to investing, she was an entrepreneur, media executive and securities lawyer and spent many years in business development at Time Warner and NBC Universal. She holds a business degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Alexander S. Blum, CEO and Founder of Atomic Capital, a New York blockchain technology company provides a platform for compliant security token issuance, fundraising, and ongoing administration. Prior to launching Atomic, Alexander consulted in the space for 5+ years, developing a cryptocurrency mining operation and AI-Crypto Hedge Fund, and leading projects at both Fortune 500s and prominent blockchain start-ups. Prior, he served in the Peace Corps in Panama, starting an indigenous artisan crafts co-op as an Economic Development Consultant. Upon completing his service, he launched a rural telecom operator that grew to a network of over 130,000 subscribers in Panama and Mexico. He graduated from MIT and Tufts University and has been a blockchain expert speaker at events throughout the world. Nelson Chu is the founder and CEO of Cadence, the leading investment platform for tokenized alternative assets. He is a 3x startup founder with several years of experience at the top investment management firms, including Bank of America and BlackRock. Prior to Cadence, he founded a strategy consulting firm specializing in helping companies build products and raise capital for growth, creating over $1B in equity value. He currently serves as an advisor to an ultra high net worth family office and is an active angel investor, with notable investments including BlockFi, Cadre, Care/Of, Clover Health, dv01, Tala, and Uala.
Yoshi Nakamura is a Managing Director and Head of OTC Sales at Galaxy Digital. Prior to joining the firm, he spent fourteen years at Citi in the Equities division covering Citi’s largest global hedge fund clients. During his time at Citi he was the Co-Head of Citi’s Equity Hedge Fund Strategy, involved in anchoring Citi Velocity’s “Citi Minute” video content, helped create Citi PARTNER (Principal At Risk Net Exposure Reporting tool), and contributed to a number of other big data content projects for the Markets businesses. He serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors at Beat the Streets, a charity that supports the development of the youth of New York City through the sport of wrestling. He is a 2x Division I All-American in wrestling, represented the United States in 2001 as a member of the national freestyle wrestling team, holds a first degree black belt in Judo, and is a multiple time national Judo champion. He received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School, with a concentration in Management.
Simon Grunfeld is the Executive Director and Founder of Ibinex (a B2B Crypto Exchange) and has roots stemming from the retail FX and IT solutions marketplace. Simon started his career in IT and then became a registered CTA (2006) to form Gallant FX and then co-founded and headed up the product development of Gallant VPS and co-founding Gallant Capital Markets (GCMFX). His expert knowledge of developing a project and launching products, driven by innovation, and has participated in the launch of brokerages and the deployment of SaaS/PaaS initiatives used by many large retail institutions. Simon founded Ibinex in 2014 and now caters to a growing number of White Labels and institutional cryptocurrency solutions.
Rob Kenedi, seasoned startup exec, has moved to NYC to open an office for TWG as General Manager. He also founded and hosts a podcast called Entrepreneurs in Small Rooms Drinking Coffee and is a weekly panelist on BetaKit’s CanCon podcast. Rob has run funded and bootstrapped startups for over a decade such as Endloop, Pigsback, and Impressed. He has also led significant enterprise product development initiatives at organizations such as AT&T Bell Labs, Bell Canada, and the Ontario Telemedicine Network. He has also mentored dozens of startups individually and via programs such as CFC IDEABOOST, Techstars Startup Next, and more. He is all about bringing innovative, customer-focused products and services to market, and as a writer and podcaster, Rob is also known for putting the pun back into techno-punditry.
Jon Fox is a Founding Partner of Maximalist Ventures, a NYC based investment platform focusing on the incubation and acceleration of innovative technologies. A serial entrepreneur, Fox founded and exited multiple companies in the transportation and food services verticals over the course of his 25 year career. Fox currently owns Lewisco Holdings, an international distribution company. He also currently serves as Managing Director of 2857 Capital, a family investment office, and as an Advisor to Fr8 Network, a blockchain company focused on global logistics. Fox is a frequent public speaker, offering thought leadership on entrepreneurship and how blockchain will impact the future of industry.
Spencer Potts is a Founding Partner of Maximalist Ventures, a NYC based investment platform focusing on the incubation and acceleration of innovative technologies. Marking a career spanning over 25 years in capital markets, Potts served as Global Head of institutional Sales & Marketing for Investment Managers including Silver Creek Capital, CIFC Asset Management, and most recently Mid Ocean Partners. Potts' deeper tenure extends to portfolio construction of institutional investment portfolios centered around alternative assets including hedge funds, private equity, real estate & venture capital. Potts is Capital Chair for New York City’s largest poverty frontline center, The River Fund, and holds a B.A. in History from the University of New Hampshire.
Sean Nasiri is a serial entrepreneur, an experienced fundraiser, and one of the early pioneers in the equity crowdfunding space. He founded the first mission-driven equity crowdfunding platform, GenYrator, which bridged alumni networks with entrepreneurs. After selling GenYrator, he helped Startengine launch the first Regulation A+ equity crowdfunding platform. He then moved to New York to build Newark's first social impact incubator, Fownders, and helped Electric.ai scale operations and raise their Series A. He now leads operations and business development for the leading security token issuance and management platform, TokenSoft, whose clients include: Hedra Hashgraph, Tezos Foundation, Andra Capital, and iCash.
Michael Gord is the founder and CEO of MLG Blockchain, an enterprise blockchain and ICO consulting and development firm, and the director of the Blockchain Education Network, a robust global network of blockchain enthusiasts. Michael is also the founder and CEO of Bitcoin Canada, sits on the board of directors of the Blockchain Association of Canada, is an advisor and investor into several prominent blockchain ventures and writes for Bitcoin Magazine in addition to several other fintech publications. Michael is an active pioneer in the blockchain industry and has organized global annual events which introduce thousands of people around the world each year to their first bits and to the disruptive potential of blockchain technology. Some of these include the Bitcoin Airdrop, Blockchain Education Month, Blockchain Madness, Blockchain Gauntlet, BitCrawls, etc. Michael is also regularly featured as a speaker at fintech industry events and conferences around the world. Michael holds a degree in Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Information Systems from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, where he founded the McGill Cryptocurrency Club and co-founded the McGill Students Fintech Association. After graduating, Michael made the first donation of bitcoin to the McGill Alumni Association.
Tim O’Regan is an emerging markets banker, investor and entrepreneur focused on raising capital for alternative investment funds through tokenization. After working as an analyst for Salomon Brothers' commodity arm in the US, Tim moved to Warsaw and London where he worked as a banker for EBRD, a EUR 20bn investment fund dedicated to Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and North Africa, and served as board member and observer for its private equity investments and funds. Upon returning to the US, Tim financed the development of commercial real estate properties, traded distressed commercial real estate debt and started consumer product, financial operations software and real estate investment companies. Tim is a NextGen Ventures Founding Venture Partner and angel investor, and has served as adviser to startups, the United Nations and the MIT 100k Business Plan Competition among others. Tim received his B.S. in Finance from Fairfield University, and an International Business concentration from the Royal University of Copenhagen.

Jennifer Litorja is the COO of CryptoOracle, a "community first" VC and strategic advisory, focused on projects that leverage blockchain, cryptocurrency, smart contracts and decentralization. Prior to CryptoOracle, Jennifer led Ecosystem Development for SendGrid's Accelerate program in North America, one of the most successful companies to come out of Techstars. She has also worked in corporate strategy and program management roles at IBM, Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital. Jennifer is a mentor and advisor to startups and has helped them raise angel and venture financing, and facilitated business opportunities with Fortune 500 companies.
Franklin Bi leads the Strategic Advisory Group at Wachsman, a leading professional services firm for the blockchain industry, providing public relations, events management, and strategic advisory services (client list). He advises companies from within and outside the blockchain industry on transformative strategies that bridge the gap between this revolutionary technology and the traditional economy. Franklin has played a pivotal role in guiding a leading financial institution through their blockchain journey from inception to launch. Prior to Wachsman, Franklin served as Blockchain Strategy Lead and Vice President for J.P. Morgan. He pioneered the firm’s initial assessment of blockchain technology in 2015 and was a founding member of J.P. Morgan’s Blockchain Center of Excellence, overseeing the firm’s strategic approach to the blockchain and crypto-asset ecosystem, including the firm’s blockchain product strategy and its founding role in the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. Franklin helped develop key blockchain-related initiatives for the investment bank, including Quorum, J.P. Morgan’s open-source enterprise fork of Ethereum, built in collaboration with members of the Ethereum and zCash core teams, as well as blockchain pilots across wholesale payments, capital markets, and trade finance. Previously, Franklin was in the Corporate Strategy group for J.P. Morgan’s investment bank, executing on high-priority growth initiatives. Franklin was previously an Investment Analyst for ff Venture Capital, a top-performing venture capital fund in New York City. Franklin holds a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Patrick Springer is a member of the board of advisors for Polybird Exchange, an end to end issuance & exchange platform for tokenized assets. Springer recently completed a more than twenty-year career at Morgan Stanley where he was a managing director in their institutional securities business. As a leader in their global equities business, he advised North-American based institutional equity investors and led the distribution of numerous international equity offerings deals, helping raise upwards of $50 billion of capital for global corporations in technology and other industries over the past ten years. Springer has an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Business school, and degrees in economics and Asian languages from Rutgers University.
Max Dilendorf, Esq. is the founding partner of Dilendorf Khurdayan, PLLC. Max’s practice involves real estate and digital assets. For real estate clients, Max handles all phases of real estate transactions, including tokenization of real estate, structuring cross-border transactions using digital currency, acquisitions, dispositions and financing of commercial and residential real estate in New York. Benjamin Polen, Allodeum CEO & Founder, has over fifteen years of experience in real estate, title insurance, and associated industries.
