Ancient clues discovered at 8 of Philly’s finest beer locations point to the existence of a treasure. So we’ve partnered with local creator Eric The Puzzler to share this exciting quest with the beer community. In fact, we need your help to unlock the treasure—Eric is used to creating treasure hunts, not solving them! What We Know Here’s what Eric The Puzzler has pieced together: Long ago, John Wagner, the brewer who brought lager to America, left behind more than his brewing legacy—he left a treasure. For some reason, his cryptic clues have recently been discovered at local beer locations. Each one seems to provide a piece of Wagner’s instructions on how to unlock his mysterious treasure. No one knows where the “Brewer’s Bounty” is, but Eric believes it can only be unlocked by solving the puzzles scattered across the city. So we need your help to crack the code! Do you have what it takes to uncover Wagner’s secret stash? How It Works Explore 8 Beer Locations: Each participating location hosts one of the 8 unique pieces of the puzzle that’s been discovered. Show your Universe ticket to a staff member to get a copy of the puzzle, and enjoy discounted drinks while you crack it. Solve the Mystery: Solve each piece of the puzzle at each location, then combine your solutions to figure out how to unlock the treasure. Claim the Treasure: Be the first to submit the solution to the final puzzle and win $100 cash. Plus, everyone who completely solves the puzzle will win an equal portion of the treasure!
