The Cinematic Arts and Media Production Department at Duke Ellington School of the Arts will host a three-hour educational seminar on entrepreneurial opportunities for student artists and parents led by Eldridge Allen (Greater Washington Urban League), Dawn Fong (202 Creates), Karleton Thomas (Build - Metro DC), Dr. Elka Stevens (Howard University), and Daoud Baptiste. The Young Artists Entrepreneur Workshop aims to inform our young community on business principles for becoming a working artist. The FREE workshop is open to all DESA students and parents.
