In light of recent events, Lauren Poelzer, Emily Thomas, Izzy Tansey, Kate Sharman, and the gentlemen of LXA have teamed together to raise awareness for men’s mental health while honouring the life of Jeff Courage. To know Jeff was to love him - he touched every single life he encountered. In Canada, 75% of suicides are men. Globally, on average, 1 man dies by suicide every minute of every day. This rate is both alarmingly high and unacceptable. Times like these highlight the great importance of a community; we need to come together and take advantage of the strength in our voices. The Greek community must unite and support one another, while raising mental health awareness on campus, in London, and as far as we can take it. Thank you Katie McMahon for helping to create these BEAUTIFUL shirts. They will be for sale starting today! By purchasing a shirt you will be donating all proceeds to the Canadian Mental Health Association, while helping to raise awareness and honour Jeff’s name. Furthermore, there is a feature in the checkout portion that allows you to donate an additional amount towards the Canadian Mental Health Association. Along with this, we encourage ALL of you to share the sales link for "The Courage Project" with friends outside of the Greek scene, family members, other clubs, etc. Our ultimate mission is to raise as much awareness and money for men’s mental health as possible.
