Another of our Fringe Japan events is a sumo demonstration by Clan Sumo Scotland. Co-hosted by the University of Edinburgh. Check in begins at 3:45pm, so please arrive early. Clan Sumo Scotland is the governing body for Sumo in Scotland as recognised by the European Sumo Federation. This year is their second year that they have held the Scottish Sumo Open, which welcomes sumo wrestlers from around the world to compete.
