321Rule is the first real-time/club-theatre stage show from NYC studio Team Rolfes, starring a collaborative performance by Naarm based musician and producer Ninajirachi.
In the year 2183 we have run out of future. In this reality, memory hunters play the human psyche like a video game, unlocking deep forgotten memories in a search for new futures….. at a price!
Utilising the full capabilities of The Lab through a mix of performance, theatre, music, and wild VR puppetry, Team Rolfes and Ninjirachi delve deep into a vision of the future, exploring the chaotic and turbulent landscape of human memory.
Known internationally for their work pioneering virtual performance, Team Rolfes have continued to push the boundaries on immersive technology, implementing real-time animation with VR puppets, motion- captured abstract avatars, and viscerally intense imagery.
The studio, helmed by Sam Rolfes and Andy Rolfes with teammates Array Bercov and Alexander Baumann, have worked with the likes of Lady Gaga, Metallica, Amnesia Scanner, Nike, Adult Swim, and performed at festivals across the world.
Ninajirachi has been making huge waves nationally and internationally with the release of her most recent 2024 album, Girl EDM. Mixing hyperpop and EDM, Ninajirachi incorporates a wide selection of sounds into a high energy musical pastiche – a perfect pairing for the dense eclectic visuals of Team Rolfes!
