You will always find the evidence for what you choose to believe
So if you don't like your story, don't believe it
We are all storytellers and the stories that we tell ourselves become our lives
Change your story, change your life
Starve your pain, find your ego
Starve your ego, find your beast
Starve your beast, find your truth
Find your truth, find your peace
TESTIMONIALS
- "The entire community is insanely supportive. It seems crazy to call a group of strangers on a Zoom call a community, but to call it anything else would be a disservice. People are present, engaged, enthusiastic, supportive, vocal, and brave. This workshop, somehow, has attracted people that are invested in sharing their truth in its entirety through their work."
- "We’re all in need of a reset. We’re all in need of an opportunity to be seen and heard and felt. I signed up for the poetry workshop hoping to find a creative spark, and I left with a great deal more."
- "If anyone reading this is sitting on the fence about whether to take a workshop with In-Q...I'd say, don't even think about 1 minute more....just jump in.....you will gain more than you ever imagine. Yes, you will write but you will also get to experience yourself and your writing in a whole new way. In-Q is a gifted guide, writer, teacher of writing and life. You will not be disappointed! "
FAQs
- Can I attend if I've never written poetry before?
The experience is for everyone regardless of writing experience! These workshops focus on self-expression and storytelling rather than the technical aspects of writing poetry.
- What is the agenda of the workshop?
IN-Q will perform some poems to open the workshop. Then, he will give a writing prompt along with guidelines and specific instructions for the session. After a short writing window, participants can volunteer to share their personal poems with the group. The last portion is breakout rooms, in which people will share their poems 1-1 with another participant from the workshop. The content is often vulnerable and raw and the environment is overwhelmingly supportive. Come join us to discover the full experience!
- Can I log in late or tune in & out of the workshop?
The workshop doors will close (virtually) 15min past the start time, in order to ensure the best possible experience and keep a focused and closed container. If you are running late, you can absolutely rewatch the workshop later and follow the writing prompts then.
