The Tech Society creates, markets and executes 150+ emerging technology conferences and hackathons annually in the USA, Canada, and Europe with expansion planned for Asia in 2019.

Speakers:
Jesse Wachtel was the co-founder of PhoneTag, the first US-based voicemail transcription service and the basis for Apple and Google’s voicemail-to-text transcription feature. Following his exit, he was integral in developing mobile ticketing technology applications for mass transit as partner of the executive team at Bytemark, another advanced startup.
Jesse serves on the board of the NYU Innovation Fund and manages investments for his family office EuroAmerican Funding. Jesse earned his BS in Business Administration at the University of Southern California.
Andrew Ackerman is recovering consultant turned serial entrepreneur, startup mentor and angel investor. He is the Managing Director at Dreamit, currently in charge of the UrbanTech accelerator program. Andrew has also written for Fortune, Forbes, Propmodo, CREtech, AlleyWatch, Edsurge, The 74 Million, et. al. Andrew has founded two companies and has a keen appreciation for how hard it is to build a successful startup, even under the best of circumstances. He speaks Hebrew fluently as well as some Spanish, French, Japanese and JavaScript.
David S. Rose, CEO, Gust
David is an Inc. 500 CEO, serial entrepreneur, and angel investor who has founded or funded over 100 pioneering companies. He has been described by Forbes as "New York's Archangel", by Crain's New York Business as "the father of angel investing in New York", and by Red Herring magazine as "patriarch of Silicon Alley". He is the New York Times best-selling author of Angel Investing and The Startup Checklist.
David is the founder and CEO of Gust, which operates the world's largest online platform and community for entrepreneurs and early stage investors. Gust is used by over 750,000 entrepreneurs in 192 countries to connect with over 85,000 early stage investors and pioneered the field of Company as a Service (CaaS). He is also Managing Director of Rose Tech Ventures; Founder and Chairman Emeritus of New York Angels; Co-founder and Managing Director of the AREA Technology Accelerator; and Associate Founder and Founding Track Chair for Finance and Entrepreneurship at Singularity University.
David was the first investor and Chairman of JUMP Bikes, acquired by Uber, and serves as a board director of KoolSpan and Moven. He is an active early stage investor and companies he has seed-funded have been acquired by Facebook, Google, Amazon, Intel, Oracle, CBS, and Kodak.

Josh Blackman ,Founder & CEO of Brownstone Property Group
Josh Blackman is Founder and Chief Executive of BrownstonePropertyGroup.com (BPG), based in Brooklyn, New York, and in business since 2004. BPG includes a property management service, real estate brokerage, Home Improvement Contractor, and handyman/janitorial services. The company employs 20 professionals and manages over 80 (primarily residential) Brooklyn buildings. Mr. Blackman also founded (and continues to run) Legaloptin.com (owner of email/postal marketing lists), and BrooklynPropertyCare.com (insurance brokerage). Prior to founding BPG, Mr. Blackman was Director of Marketing and General Counsel at FIND/SVP, Inc., a market research firm in New York City (now known as Guideline Inc.).
He holds a BA in English from Rutgers College, earned his JD from Cardozo School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in New York and Connecticut. He is a licensed real estate broker and insurance broker. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and twin daughters.
Andy Bess is a managing director at Hero Investments
Andy has worked in the investment banking industry for over 20 years on transactions including buy- and sell-side M&A, debt and equity financings, and turnarounds. He was a founding member of Daroth Capital Advisors, where he spent over 15 years working with middle market clients across a broad range of industries, including parking, automotive suppliers and security software. Andy has a particular interest in last-mile urban mobility and smart cities solutions, and works with both the providers and users of these services, including software and hardware vendors, parking managers and property owners. He received an MBA degree from Columbia Business School, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College.
Dom Casamento, CEO KingDom Equities
Dom Casamento is the founder of Kingdom Equities MGMT, a fully integrated real estate investment and property management firm headquartered in Astoria (in the very same property his grandparents lived in and his father later redeveloped). A third generation real estate developer, Dom joined the family firm, Alyssa Gray Realty, full time after his graduation from NYU and focused on continuing to grow the family business. After helping to increase the rent roll of the family portfolio by more than 30%, in less than 3 years, Dom decided to use his expertise to launch Kingdom Equities MGMT.
The firm started in 2015 managing only the Casamento family’s personal real estate portfolio, but has since grown to include a brokerage division, a management division, and a consulting arm aimed at helping other landlords increase their ROI.

He is a full stack application developer and has competencies in front end, middleware, databases, mobile, and embedded peripherals. John brings the team the unprecedented ability to understand root problems and quickly develop and prototype solutions.
