Dear valued Customer,
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we must announce the cancellation of The Weekend Festival due to take place later this month on the Victoria Embankment in Nottingham.
We thank all those involved in it, the directors, staff, artists and the wider community who have shown such enthusiasm for what we hoped would have been a brilliant weekend of music and entertainment later this month.
However, despite all our best efforts and intent, ticket sales have remained stubbornly low. Across our industry, many smaller festivals have faced a similar fate this year in what have been challenging times for many.
The costs of putting on a festival like this are considerable so we have had to make this difficult decision. We would only ever want to put on an event that would be the best for our great city of Nottingham.
Unfortunately, it won’t be possible… this time.
We very much hope The Weekend Festival will return in 2025.
