Description
The Wheel is a sensory installation theatre performance where the audience actively participates as their own character. During the performance, audiences will do the expedition on the created landscape and interact with sensory elements, Taste, Smell, Touch, Hear, and Vision, including Temperature, Kinesthetic, Pain, Balance, Vibration, and various internal stimuli like the sense of Hunger and sense of Thirst. During that process, audiences will spend an hour in that atmosphere with their Body, Mind, and Spirit and perceive the feelings based on Life and Struggle. This artistic process is called the "Art of Self-Realization."
Life and struggle are the two parts of a coin. Wherever struggle, there is life. Life requires a considerable amount of physical and mental effort; otherwise, it will collapse. Life and struggle are like an Object and Force. When both merges together, they create motion. Motion creates the sparkles, and sparkles are the fuel for living. Life will be just an inanimate thing if there are no struggles.
The Wheel is an expression of life and struggle. As long as this life exists, the wheel of life will continue to move on with the ups and downs. Friends will be met and separated during the journey. There will be happiness; there will be suffering. Sometimes you feel alone; sometimes, you are alone, even among friends. It is the ongoing process of gaining and losing, increasing and decreasing, coming and going, like day and night, light and shadow.
A person is born and born hunger – thirst, desire – dream, love-hate, and other similar elements. Then starts the real journey of life. It lasts as long as the body exists.
We are different. I am not like you, and you are not like me. Not only physically but also mentally, we can never be the same. This is human diversity. But this physical world we live in is the same. Our ways of understanding and interpreting the world are different, as are our minds. Your life - your struggle, your knowledge - your conscience, your actions - your fruit. All is yours.
Let us understand our own lives and struggles through the sensory process. Will this journey reawaken your own life and struggles? One hour, you live with your heart, live with your power, live with your conscience.
To all struggling minds, I would like to dedicate this performance.
Welcome.
