MANDY BARNETT: A singer since the age of five, Mandy Barnett is a world-class vocalist whose style is deeply rooted in the classic country and pop crooning of the all-time great singers. The Crossville, Tennessee native first garnered national attention as a teenager, earning rave reviews for her portrayal of the legendary Patsy Cline in the stage show Always…Patsy Cline at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium, and appearing in this title role on the original cast album.
Barnett has since built on that success considerably, carving out a prolific recording career with multiple critically acclaimed albums and showcasing her one-of-a-kind vocal talent on stages across the country and around the globe – from international music festivals to the Grand Ole Opry. She released her debut album Mandy Barnett following the successful first run of Always…Patsy Cline, and the follow-up record, I’ve Got a Right to Cry, was produced by Nashville Sound pioneer Owen Bradley (producer of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, and Brenda Lee), his final contribution to the music community before his death. I’ve Got a Right to Cry was named the top country album in the year of its release by Rolling Stone, and similar stellar reviews appeared in People, Newsweek, and other national magazines and newspapers. Barnett’s subsequent albums have likewise garnered substantial critical notice. Her latest release is 2018's "Strange Conversation," which you can check out here:
NIKKI MITCHELL FOUNDATION: A pancreatic cancer 501(c)(3) non-profit, NMF is dedicated to providing comfort and relief for those affected by pancreatic cancer, while raising awareness and searching for the cure.
Nikki Mitchell ran the enterprises of Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter and served as President of their company for 22 years. During that time, she made history of her own with the Bridge of Wings flight, circumnavigating the northern hemisphere as co-captain with NMF President Rhonda Miles in a single engine aircraft. Nikki also ran a weekend cafe in Normandy, TN, at the very spot where the Christmas show will be held.
In December 2010, Nikki was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and battled the disease for 31 months. Her last dream was to save others from the devastating disease of pancreatic cancer, so her friends formed the foundation in her name. Nikki Mitchell Foundation currently helps 40 pancreatic cancer patients and families monthly, who's needs range from gas and grocery cards, medical and home bills, to name a few. NMF disperses funds between our direct patient services program, research and awareness projects.
