Come join the fun as The Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Shows returns for its 34th year featuring Olympic gold medalists and top competitors from all over the country. Old Salem Farm’s beautifully manicured grounds, list of elite horses and riders, and fantastic social gatherings draw spectators from across the region who delight in strolling the pristine grounds, shopping on ‘Boutique Row,’ and sampling the tasty food and beverage selections, all while watching horses run and jump in the pursuit of victory. Saturday, May 14 - Featuring the $15,000 Old Salem Farm Speed Derby. Gates open at 9 am, Boutique Row opens at 10 am. There will also be face painting from 11 - 3 , A New Chance Dog Animal Rescue will be on the grounds from 12 - 3. From 1 - 2 join us for a tour of the HEART Equine Ambulance and from 2 - 3:00 join us for the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Social hosted by Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Program.Sunday, May 15 - Featuring the $50,000 Old Salem Farm Grand Prix presented by the Kincade Group starting at 2. Gates and Boutique Row open at 10 am. Enjoy face painting and Pied Piper Pony Rides from 11 - 3.Saturday, May 21 - Featured events include the $35,000 Speed Derby of North Salem presented by TownVibe at noon, the $10,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby and the Under 25 Grand Prix presented by T & R Development both starting at 2. Gates open at 9 am, Boutique Row opens at 10 am. Enjoy face painting from 11 - 3 and a Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Social from 2 - 3 hosted by the Wolf Conservation Center.Sunday, May 22 - The $130,000 Empire State Grand Prix presented by the Kincade Group begins at 2:30. Gates and Boutique Row open at 10 am, don't miss the ASPCA Adoption Day from 12:30 - 4:30, Pied Piper Pony Rides and face painting from 11- 3.
