Make your very own paper collage masterpiece with artist and educator, Lisa Pahl!
Through the Window will take place on June 20th in the Second Floor Studio of the St. Mane Theatre from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Students ages 6 - 12 will gather inspiration on a guided walk (weather permitting) and then draw from what they saw to create paper collage scenes!
Often inspired by nature, the famous French artist, Henri Matisse cut paper images and placed them together to create beautiful masterpieces. In Through the Window, students will use nature as their inspiration as well to cut, paste, and color a multimedia window view paper collage!
Lisa Pahl is thrilled to be teaching two classes for young artists this summer. She has a wealth of enthusiasm and art education experience, as she has taught Color Theory at North and South Hennepin Community College, Oil Painting with Moorhead Continuing Education, and several classes with West Minneapolis Community Continued Education.
