Who: Hackers Like You. What: ToorCon: San Diego 2021 When: Oct 12-14 Where: The Point Why: What could Possibly go wrong? We started ToorCon in 1999, back when dial-up and floppy disks were widespread, and Defcon was still in its early years. At the time, hacker conferences were one of the only places you could learn about cutting edge research and learn what other hackers were up to. Now a day, there’s nearly unlimited content and courses on hacking and hundreds of hacker conferences covering nearly every day of the year. After 20 years of running ToorCon, we decided that the industry has drastically evolved and we should too! This year, we’re reinventing the conference to focus on the aspects of the event that you can’t get anywhere else and create a more unique and fun experience for everyone! COVID-19 SAFETY NOTICE: To make sure everyone stays safe at the event, we're requiring all staff, speakers, and attendees to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and a negative test result within 24 hours of the event start. We'll also be providing complementary rapid tests at the event to make it easy for everyone to meet our safety requirements. The event space and activities are open air and have good air circulation so masking requirements will be communicated closer to the event based on local guidelines and event space safety requirements at the time. TICKETS/DONATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE: Under any circumstance that we would have to cancel onsite attenance, we would continue to host the event virtually. All onsite tickets will be automatically converted to virtual tickets. Sorry for the inconvience but we would still be under obligation to our Venue and Vendors. Discounts for future events will issued. TICKETS/DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE: ToorCon, Inc. is registed 501(c)3 Non-Profit. All Donations are tax deductable.
