Triple Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Vanilla and Cinnamon // 16.9% abv
The third in a series of Catch Hell Barrel Aged Vanilla & Cinnamon Imperial Stouts.
Originally brewed in Feb 2019 with a starting gravity of 40 Plato. Hulking. Thicc. Catch Hell remains the biggest stout we have ever brewed. This Imperial Doom Stout is the destination of a journey we started on to explore the boundaries of viscosity and age. This beer was aged in three different sets of freshly emptied spirit barrels - Bourbon for rounds 1 and 2 and Rye whiskey for round 3 - and has been in oak for a total of three years. Bringing viscosity up presented the opportunity for extended aging. Extended aging combined with massive viscosity allowed for multiple rounds of barrel extractions. Each time we emptied and refilled to fresh barrels, a portion was diverted for Catch Hell and Double Catch Hell releases. So here we are after three years, with the last of 2019 Catch Hell and not a drop left.
Like the previous two iterations, this batch is finished with an infusion of vanilla beans and cinnamon just before packaging. To experience it is to drop tune your sensory arch and find compressed weight pulling you from transparency mode down into a new exterior cancellation setting immersed in the character of bourbon and rye blended with a mature layer of leather and tobacco. The vanilla melts nicely into the base, adding a velveteen richness and dessert reverse-crescendo of chocolate and molasses. Cinnamon provides an echo-depth of flavor and low-level heat that combines with each and every bit of its 16.9% ABV for a reverberating, coating finish.

Pick ups are available from Friday 2/11 until Sunday 2/13. Hours: Friday 11 am to 10 pm // Saturday 11 am to 10 pm // Sunday 11 am to 5 pm (Closed early for Super Bowl)

Please note: Your ticket is not confirmed until you purchase and receive a confirmation order. A randomized queue will form based on volume.
Tickets go on sale at 9 am on 2/11. At 30 mins prior to on sale time (which is 9 am), a waiting room will open (at 8:30 am). Exactly at the time for on sale; fans will be randomly entered from the waiting room into a queue for their chance to purchase tickets. In regard to the waiting room, there is no benefit to someone waiting for 30min or 1min; exactly at the time of on sale the queue to purchase will trigger and fans in the waiting room will be randomly entered into the queue. Once out of the queue, fans will have the opportunity to purchase tickets. Tickets may sell out while you're in the queue. Tickets are only confirmed once an order confirmation screen is displayed (and you’ll soon thereafter receive a confirmation email w/ receipt.)

We're hosting a conversation with our Head Brewer, Ryan O'doherty, on our Barrel Program and how we brewed Triple Barrel Catch Hell. This event is open to the public, and there will be questions from the audience after the initial chat. Food and beer will be available for on site purchase and enjoyment, including Triple Barrel Catch Hell and other barrel aged beers. This event will be capped at sixty persons.
We require vaccination for on site enjoyment, this includes children (of any age). Persons must be 21+ to purchase beer.
