Please join us in National Wreaths Across America Day at Sarasota National Cemetery where we will Remember and Honor over 35,000 Veterans, spouses and qualified dependents interred.
Due to limited hard surface parking, Admittance is through Vehicle Parking Pass only. All Volunteers must car-pool or ride share to limit number of vehicles on cemetery grounds. Parking in any grassy area is not permitted.
Off-Site Parking and Ride Share Location:
Offsite Parking is located two miles west of Sarasota National Cemetery at Suncoast Community Church and Charter School. 8000 Hawkins Road, Sarasota FL 34241. We are encouraging everyone to meet at this location, then carpool and/or ride-share. Park in the Main Parking area only, please.
General Volunteer Admittance -1:00pm
Driver must have their Vehicle Parking Pass readily available upon arrival at the MAIN ENTRANCE to the cemetery. Your Vehicle Parking Pass will arrive by Email through Universe/Ticketmaster (check your SPAM before contacting host).
All volunteers registering for this time frame will stay until all wreaths are laid and cemetery grounds are cleaned of debris and cardboard. Estimated time frame is 2-3 hours.
We are guests representing Wreaths Across America for Sarasota National Cemetery. All volunteers will conduct themselves in accordance with the National Cemetery Administration's Restrictions and Floral and Grounds Policy.
