Westside Baptist Church is a "small group church." Small groups are the center of our fellowship life and an indispensable part of a holistic Christian life. In small groups, we share our lives honestly, open ourselves to others, and walk alongside our brothers and sisters. Therefore, a smal group must be a community built on trust and commitment.
The following questions in the application process are not only for us to gather information but also for you to reflect on whether you are ready to commit to joining a small group. If you do not meet the requirements, we will not be able to arrange a group for you; however, you are welcome to apply again when you are ready to meet the requirements. Each member of the same household must register individually.
Requirements for joining a cell group include:
Having consistently attended in-person Sunday worship at Westside Baptist Church for a period of time (at least six weeks).
Being willing and able to commit to a group and maintain an attendance rate of 75% or higher.
After receiving your application, the pastoral team will contact you via email to arrange a meeting to discuss the group arrangements. Please check your email inbox (including the spam folder) and respond to the church’s email after registering. If there is a vacancy in a suitable group for you, we will arrange for you to join as soon as possible. If no groups currently have space, please be patient as we are actively preparing to establish more groups to meet the demand.
