This ten day event takes place in New York, NY and the Catskills. TheĀ event starts off with a weekend retreat, October 16-18 to 4,000 acre Black Rock Forest Preserve in Cornwall, NY. There you will view the magnificent fall colors in full brilliance, hike ad photograph during the day with international film producers and scientists as your companions.October 19-23 is the WCFF Biodiversity Conference, this takes place during the day at both Anthology Film Archives and on the campus of New York University (NYU). During the evenings of October 19-22 is the film festival at Anthology Film Archives and film screenings resume day and evening October 24 and 24. More than 80 documentary films will be screened during the week, with over 30 international film directors and producers in attendance to speak with the audience and engage in Q&A. Evenings will informal receptions to mix and mingle with fellow film festival & conference attendees along with the film producers. OnĀ the evening of Friday, October 23 and evening Awards Reception & Presentation is being planned.
