4 women from C4DI, the Heart of Hull's Technology Community, will take to the stage at the Humber Tech Expo to talk briefly on their stories from past roles in other industries to their transition into technology and how they are shaping the future through digital innovation and people at the core of their mission and values. The talk will start with Louise Cooke, C4DI's red thread, the connector between businesses and collaborations. Louise will provide insight into her path from a non-technical background to a key player of the digital community at C4DI, Louise will share insight into how the exposure to a diverse range of technology and talented people enables her to support entrepreneurs to global organisations. Following on from Louise, Lucy Blackley will share her story on going from clothing to coding, and how her own challenges within her prior industry brought her to the inception of her world-wide software solution to aid the product design industry to streamline to success, leaving the admin to the systems, and enabling companies and employees to reach their full potential through digital transformation. Claire Clark will continue on to share insights into what it’s like to progress career and become a ‘Connected: Leader’ in a male-dominated industry successfully delivering a range of impressive products for start-ups to multi-national organisations from a range of industries, ‘connecting’ their transformations into an Agile and Digital world. And lastly, but certainly not least is Christina Colmer-Mchugh who went from writing to wellbeing. After graduating she worked as a journalist, copywriter, editor, and ghostwriter within mainstream print media, politics, technology, pharmaceuticals, and blue-collar companies before her personal life took a turn. Christina discovered that her young daughter was struggling and from this embarked on a journey to set out to find a way of connecting and creating conversations that would quite possibly change the way we communicate in our everyday lives whether that’s personally or professionally
