PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS FOR BPI MEMBERS ONLY.
Wisdom Wednesday returns for our last event of 2019 - and we're going out with a bang! This session will focus on curators and tastemakers.
With fierce dedication and deep
knowledge of their respective cultural niches, our fantastic speakers each look
after a wide spectrum of genres, from mainstream to cutting edge pop, through
to urban and alternative. In this panel we will try to uncover the paths they
have travelled – how they discovered music, how they managed to turn their
passion into a career, how they navigated the ups and downs of the various
cultural shifts they witnessed along the way, and what makes them tick.
Without further ado, here is our fantastic line-up (whose bios you can read below):
Sam Moy - Head of Content Commissioning, BBC Radio 6Music
Posty - CEO & Founder, GRM Daily
Peter Robinson - Journalist & Founder, Popjustice
Sara Sesardic - Senior Music Editor, Spotify
Moderated by Ben Homewood - Senior Staff Writer, Music Week
Afterwards, stick around as there will be more free drinks and pizza and a chance for you to catch up with your industry colleagues.
