WomenGiveCLT is a unique event co-hosted by SHARE Charlotte, the Women’s Impact Fund and the Junior League of Charlotte, Inc to bring together community minded women to meet 20 local nonprofits focused on supporting Women and Girls.
**New this year** A new location and slightly smaller event to create more intentional opportunities to meet women and girls serving nonprofit organizations with open board, committee, or volunteer roles.
Event Details:
Thursday, April 18th from 6:00-8:00 pm at The Union at Station West (located in the Wesley Heights Neighborhood)
Cost: $30 per person and includes a drink ticket and light apps

6:00-6:30 pm: Check in and Networking
6:30-6:50 pm: Kick off and welcome from Dianne Bailey
6:500-8:00 pm: "Networking for Good" (Speed Networking) Session with nonprofit leaders
Speaker Dianne Bailey - An evangelist for women’s philanthropy and volunteerism. Dianne has more than 20 years of experience working with nonprofits and is a founding member of the Women’s Impact Fund and Sustaining Member of the Junior League of Charlotte. Dianne is also the Chair of the Women’s Philanthropy Institute National Council and a featured TEDx speaker on “The Case for Fierce Optimism”.
Dianne is also the Managing Director, National Philanthropic Strategy Executive, Philanthropic Solutions at Bank of America which conducted a recent study that showed:
Women are a force for change. The vast majority (85%) of household charitable giving decisions are made or influenced by women. Despite women’s philanthropic leadership and active engagement, they remain underrepresented on nonprofit governance boards, with just 16% of affluent women compared to 30% of affluent men holding board positions.
