From panels to tours to hands-on sessions, come through to hear from (and connect with) women & LGBTQ+ leaders in creative industry, entrepreneurship, tech, nonprofits and the arts. This is our first time hosting the conference since 2020—and you’re invited to join us. Scroll for details. — BEHIND THE EVENT — Launched by Future Front in collaboration with Texas McCombs in January 2018, Work is designed by (and for) women and LGBTQ+ leaders in creative industries, entrepreneurship, tech, nonprofit communities and the arts. With an emphasis on learning and entrepreneurial mindsets, this annual, one-day gathering serves as a moment to share resources and skills, as well as get a little real. ☺ So, join us to re-center, re-group & reconnect. This is your space to learn. Thanks to our generous hosts at Texas McCombs, this year’s conference will be hosted at UT’s Rowling Hall on February 18, 2023 from 10 AM to 4 PM CT, with tickets starting at $30. — WHAT TO EXPECT — ✰ $30+ Tickets ✰ Hands-On Panels, Workshops & Talks ✰ Co-working & Creative Sessions ✰ Topics covering creative entrepreneurship, community, leadership, equity, wellness, brand storytelling + more! ✰ A complimentary workbook Our lineup will be revealed on January 24, 2023. In the meantime, check out the general schedule and feel free to submit your own ideas for sessions here. At the conference, you’ll be able to pitch Community Clubs ideas and plug into year-round workshops and learning spaces, too. — HOW TO ATTEND — Earlybird passes start at $30. All passes include access to the day’s programming, an official conference workbook, one month of Future Front membership, plus complimentary tickets to any additional WORKshops. *Tickets are free for Future Front members. If you have trouble claiming your two free tickets as a member, please email hello@futurefronttexas.org. — PREPARE YOUR VISIT TO WORK — Robert B. Rowling Hall is located at 300 West Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard within The University of Texas at Austin. WHERE TO PARK: There's metered street parking, as well as parking garages in surrounding neighborhoods. We always recommend carpooling and/or utilizing public transportation, if you can, though, to be conscious of traffic and congestion! There's also bus stop nearby. OUR COMMUNITY SAFETY GUIDELINES — All FFTX staff, volunteers and guests will be required to practice mutual respect, as well as demonstrate an alignment with Future Front’s code of conduct and values. Capacity is limited to reduce crowding of any kind. All guests are required to practice mutual respect and social distancing, as well as follow APH’s COVID-19 Guidelines. The conference is wheelchair-accessible. ASL interpreters can be provided upon request.
