Whether you’re a first-time adventurer or just a nervous nail-biter, get ready to bring your character to life! This workshop is for people who are new to D&D or for those who have trouble getting their characters out of their head and onto the character sheet. This class will teach you how to combine your imagination with material covered in various D&D Handbooks. Plus learn how to forge backstories to fit your style of play.
Once the workshop is completed, Dungeon Master Shane Garrod will run your newly created character through Darktide’s Night.

Darktide’s Night is a special 2 hour, one-shot adventure by our sponsor, Gooey Cube. Spend the night exploring a mysterious haunted treehouse.
Shane Garrod
Shane has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for the better part of 6 years. Shane specializes in helping players get their first characters off the ground. He leads players on a dive deep into the Player's Handbook to help them find inspiration for their future characters.
The Workshop is from 10am to 11am at The Hugh Copeland Theater. From there, Shane will lead the players to Commune Norfolk for Dartide's Night.
