Description
Join Wyvern Lingo for the rebroadcast of their live stream concert which celebrates the launch of their second album "Awake You Lie".
"Awake You Lie" was released on Friday 26th February 2021, and to celebrate the launch Wyvern Lingo hosted a world exclusive live stream concert. Now, back by popular demand, they are hosting a rebroadcast, giving fans who missed it first time round an opportunity to tune in.
Of course not forgetting fans who have already purchased tickets. They can watch the stream again at no extra charge.
This first performance of the album includes a collaboration with Bray visual artist 1iing Heaney. 1iing brings elements of the digital artwork she designed for the album into the physical world, creating an entirely unique live stream experience. This will encapsulate the beautifully vivid world that 'Awake You Lie' emulates.

Wyvern Lingo are a trio from Ireland, who grew up playing music together and obsessing over hand-me-down albums of Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell and Simon and Garfunkel, along with the RnB of the 90s/00s that then dominated the radio. Their sound is a tapestry of influences brought together by lush vocal harmonies.
After the release of their Choice Prize- nominated debut album in 2018, the band toured extensively throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe, enjoying stints on tour supporting the likes of Hozier, James Vincent McMorrow and Grace Jones. Members Caoimhe Barry, Karen Cowley and Saoirse Duane set to work in Berlin’s JRS recording studios after the group opted to partially base themselves between there and Dublin at the start of 2020.
2020 saw them release 4 singles, all to critical acclaim both in Ireland and in Germany and have performed on numerous radio and live stream appearances in spite of the difficult year. Don’t Say It is the group’s first piece of new music from their new album, followed by Brutal Lottery, a sombre track about the number of refugee children currently missing in Europe (in aid of Missing Children Europe). Things Fall Apart and Rapture have followed, both being featured on major Spotify playlists and exciting fans for the release of their new album. Their next single Only Love Only Light will be released on Friday 29th Jan, links to the single above. Hope you enjoy.
