Playing live - Strum + Round River + Sauvages + Cult Trexy
Strum is the brainchild of artist /musician Joel Letort. Through collaboration with producer and writer Steve Line the first strum album “Erase The Tape” was born. Erase the tape is a reflection of Joel’s life in and outside of music. Many of the songs capture Joel’s experiences and observations on love, life, and surviving in the modern world. Songs such as “Risqué” have already been given airplay on Gary Crowley’s BBC Radio London show and radio Orbita FM in Ciudad Juárez Mexico. After many trials and tribulations Strum now has a full live band and are ready to bring the Strum sound to the masses. A new album is currently in production and Strum is ready to take to the stage with their unique blend of Alternative Rock & Pop sound. The current line up are Joel Letort Bass lead vocals, Peter Sawula Rhythm electric & acoustic guitar plus backing vocals and some lead. Paul Margolis (Pumpy)Drums and John Lovell lead electric guitar and backing vocals. Carl Williams had a short period with Strum.
The Discography is Poor Man’s Circus, Last Man Standing and Erase The Tape all on Spin-Top Records UK.
Round River is a London-based rock band bringing together influences from Italy, Mexico and Argentina with rock hits spanning from the ‘70s to now.
Sauvages are an alt-pop duo, made up of producer and synth aficionado James and vocalist/guitarist Chris. Their music fuses alternative and electronic styles, that ebbs and flows between the melancholic and joyful, to create both unorthodox and vibrant songs.Influenced by the likes of Jon Hopkins, easy life and The xx, Sauvages first set about their signature electronic and alternative hybrid sound in the lockdown period of early 2020 with the release of their debut single ‘Undivided’, which got featured on BBC Introducing on the day of release. This was quickly followed by their summer single ‘Rose Infinity’ which received widespread radio plays.Followed by their thoughtful pop hit ‘Reflections’ and the energy and mental health narrative of their fourth release ‘Turbulent’, the duo prepared to take to the live stage post lockdown.
Sauvages made their live stage debut at Virtual Nozstock Festival 2021, taking part in BBC Introducings summer festival lineup. Late 2021 saw more gigs in Worcester follow, including performing at Worcester Freshers. The duo have high hopes for 2022. Their single ‘Outside’ was released in August 2022 alongside a music video. “Purple Sunrise’ will also be released in autumn 2022.
"Fun, catchy emo-pop with incredible lyrical depth and this was their first ever gig!”- Andrew Marston, BBC Introducing
