Join celebrated DC-based food photographer, Scott Suchman for a full day of exploring and shooting two of Washington, DC's most popular outdoor markets- The Dupont Circle Farmers Market and the Capitol Hill’s Eastern Market. This Sunday adventure will begin bright and early at the Leica Store DC for coffee and a short presentation by Scott where he’ll discuss his experiences and approaches to shooting markets the world over. You’ll learn tips and techniques for documenting the places, faces, and food while working with a variety of Leica camera equipment. After several hours of shooting, you’ll return to the store for lunch and a lively discussion of the day’s experience as participants’ images are projected and critiqued.Students may bring their own camera or use one of the Leica loaner cameras. Please be sure to bring your own SD card though.This workshop is open to photographers, food bloggers, writers, and chefs of all skill sets. From an early start as a wire service stringer, he is now recognized as one of the region's top food and restaurant shooters. He is a contributing photographer for Washingtonian Magazine and has shot assignments regularly for The Washington Post Magazine, Baltimore Magazine, Southern Living, as well as other regional and national publications.
